Our veterinary nurses
Grainne graduated from University College Dublin in June 2018. Following her graduation, Grainne travelled to Africa for a month. Grainne joined our team in September 2018 and always has the biggest smile on her face. Grainne loves all animals and has 2 dogs, Nelson and Kerry
and 2 hens called Scrambled and Boiled.
Kate qualified as a veterinary nurse from Dundalk in 2017. After qualifying, Kate went off exploring Australia and New Zealand before joining us in December 2017. Kate is very kind and dedicated and is well liked by both clients and colleagues.
Lisa joined the MyVet Lucan team in 2016, having graduated from Dundalk IT in 2015. Lisa is a very kind, caring experienced nurse who will be well known to our regular clients! Lisa has a Siberian Husky named Robin.
Niamh qualified with a degree in veterinary nursing from University College Dublin in 2014. Shortly after graduating she joined the MyVet Lucan team. She is a very competent professional and caring nurse and a valuable member of the team. Niamh has a lovely collie named Connie.

Eve joined us in 2012 having qualified as a veterinary nurse from Dundalk. She loves all pets and is a favourite with animals and owners alike for her good humour and caring attitude. She has a very cute yorkshire terrier called Rocky and a handsome cat called Cooper.

Nicole graduated from Edinburgh University in 2017. After qualifying Nicole moved home to Canada where she worked in a pet emergency clinic before joining the MyVet Group in March 2019. Nicole has a ragdoll cat called Fionn who likes to bite toes and ankles!
Brian qualified as a vet from University College Dublin in 2016. After qualifying Brian went travelling and on his return worked in a practice in Monaghan for a year and a half before joining our team in 2018. Brian has a beautiful Golden Retriever called Abbie.
Originally from Galway, Meadhbh works in our Lucan clinic. After qualifying as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in Warsaw Meadhbh travelled to Thailand and worked on a voluntary programme neutering strays. She then spent 2 years in Bristol before joining us in 2018. Meadhbh has a very cute 3 legged cat called Ulysses.
Originally from Galway,Shauna qualified from UCD in 2015. She has worked in a variety of vet practices before joining us in 2019. She is accompanied to work daily by her dog Major.
Jenny graduated from the school of Veterinary Medicine in University College Dublin in 2007. She joined us MyVet Lucan a short time after qualifying and thankfully has never left. Jenny is one of our most experienced vets and is well known to clients in Lucan. Like most of our staff, Jenny is a pet owner – she has a very smart dog called Mindy (also pictured) who has been trained to perform a wide variety of tricks! Jenny also has a cat called Gerri – who has managed to survive numerous mishaps and medical misadventures!

Liam qualified as a vet from University College Dublin in 2001 and worked in Ireland and the UK prior to founding MyVet Lucan in 2005. Liam has 3 dogs, Bobo, Molly and Roo.

Gillian has accumulated a wealth of veterinary nursing experience and knowledge in her 20 years on the job. Gillian was the very first employee in the MyVet group and is now practice manager. She is calm under pressure and ensures that our clinics run smoothly. Gillian has two dogs, Winnie and Mags.

Bernie joined us in 2018. She has extensive experience in all aspects of business management and accounts. Outside of work Bernie is involved in animal rescue and is a true animal lover. Bernie’s dog Chloe accompanies her to work every day.
