We have a purpose built dentistry suite in Dublin that allows our team to provide the very best treatment for all dental and oral conditions.
The Dentistry service accept cases from referring vets in all aspects of dentistry and oral surgery including:

Meet our dental team
Nora Schwitzer
PhD, GP Cert (SADen&OS), MRCVS Advanced Practitioner
Dr. Nora Schwitzer is a veterinary surgeon with advanced expertise in small animal dentistry and oral surgery. She earned her veterinary degree from Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich (2003) and completed a PhD in veterinary sciences at Justus-Liebig University Giessen (2007).
After more than a decade in small animal general practice in the United Kingdom, Dr. Schwitzer developed an interest in veterinary dentistry. She pursued postgraduate training in the discipline, obtaining both a Postgraduate Certificate and a General Practitioner Certificate in Small Animal Dentistry and Oral Surgery.
Dr. Schwitzer works at MyVet Celbridge in Ireland, where she offers a referral service for complex dental and maxillofacial cases in companion animals. She serves a Dental consultant for Dublin Zoo, Fota Wildlife Park and Bristol Zoo.
In addition to her clinical role, Dr. Schwitzer is actively engaged in graduate (University College Dublin), postgraduate education and clinical mentoring. Her academic and professional interests include improving clinical standards in veterinary dentistry, integrating dentistry into general practice, and promoting multidisciplinary collaboration in zoological and wildlife medicine.

Emma Birch
MVB GPCert(SADen&OS)
Head of Service
Emma qualified from UCD in 2014 and gained experience in small animal practice in Northern Ireland and the UK before joining MyVet in 2018. She has always had a love of dentistry and joined the Myvet Dental team in 2022. Emma gained a certificate in Small Animal Dentistry and Orofacial Surgery in 2025 through Harper Adam's University. She now sees a broad range of referral patients and has a particular interest in treating feline chronic gingivitis and canine chronic ulcerative stomatitis cases.
In 2026 Emma was appointed Head of Service for the dental department and is responsible for managing the referral service. She is a point of contact for referring vets and is passionate about improving and growing the service alongside the rest of the team. Shauna Greaney
MVB GPCert(SADen&OS)
Shauna is a veterinary surgeon who qualified from the University of Veterinary medicine Budapest in 2019, she has been passionate about animal care ever since. Shauna completed a certificate in small animal dentistry and oral surgery in 2024 and has a keen interest in preventative oral health.
Shauna believes dental care is a vital part of a pet’s overall wellbeing and enjoys helping owners to better support their pets at home. Building strong relationships with clients and their animals is one of her favourite parts of the job.
Outside of work, she is often joined by her bichon, Finn, who comes to the clinic and brightens everyone’s day.
